The Effects of an Atomic Bomb

The atomic bomb, as you can all relate to, is a very powerful and deadly military weapon that won WWII for the USA. It is a few thousand degrees of heat dropping to the ground as a tiny sun with a great force of radiation which causes Leukemia. Leukemia, as you recall, is a serious type of cancer caused by radioactive forces which gives your body too many white blood cells. These white blood cells then grow uncontrollably. As the atomic bomb exploded in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, a lot of smoke that formed to look like a overcooked mushroom and appeared while the shock wave traveled at the speed of sound surely destroying everything, in all directions within 2 kilometres (2000 meters). When the USA first described the power of the atomic bomb, Japan didn't believe it and didn't surrender. But soon after that, Japan couldn't believe what they saw as the bomb killed about 140,000 people in Hiroshima. Nowadays, due to the incredible effect of the atomic bomb, many countries have a contract agreeing to not use this devastating bomb in the event of a war.
