I have a few good examples of why you should learn from your mistakes. I believe if you do it, you will become smarter. An example of that is when I was doing math. Just a couple of days ago, I learned a new subject in math. It is a shortcut people use to write numbers in expanded form. For example,105=100000, to write 583,660 in expanded form, you can write (5x105) + (8x104) + (3x103) + (6x102) + (6x101). When I was learning that, I had some trouble. I keep getting the 85 into 5x8 instead of well *blab blab blab* (I still get it mixed up so I forgot). It was really hard to learn and only the 10s were easy. While I was doing the work page, I made some mistakes but my teacher left the room and came back to immediately collect it so I never got to ask her so I never knew the way to do it until I looked it up in my math book. Even though I did that, I forgot it now. Now I wish I actually leaned from that mistake so I can use it now is this essay I am typing before my eyes. In other words, everyone should learn from their mistakes so they won't make it again in the future.
My second example is when I was in a sketching teacher's class. My sketching teacher first taught me to box what I want to draw so I can place it correctly for sure. I didn't draw the box like what she said in the first few classes because it was the hardest part, yet not so important to me and my drawing. The teacher kept on reminding me to draw it so I drew some weird, incorrect boxes. I never learned how to draw it back then. I wish I did. Imagine how good of a artist I would be now if I got it then. In conclusion, I didn't learn from my mistake right away and wasted time so you should learn from my mistake and learn from your own mistakes.
