About the Author

A member of the ComboKids, Royce Yang is a new master of poetry. He goes to school in Lincoln Elementary School in Cupertino, California. His intelligent and respected teachers are Ms. Jennifer West and K.C. His most memorable poem in the collection is The Whatifs because it includes rhythm, humor, and creativity. Learning about poetry made him a better writer because he learned to write and have fun while telling the reader the actual information. He likes poetry a lot because it is one of the few times where he can break all the grammar rules. His teacher, Ms. West, is usually very strict of grammar. In a poem, the first letter of a sentence doesn’t even have to be capitalized! Writing poems are like a mission to disobeying his teacher’s grammar rules. When he grows up, he would like to be a scientist because he was told it would make the most money. Getting a job is just to try to make money. Why not get the job that makes the most money?
